Recap on 2025 edition

The first DOaccelerate batch kicked off in May 2025 with a dynamic two-day on-site workshop in Dortmund. The agenda focused on shaping international expansion strategies and connecting participating founders with Dortmund’s thriving innovation ecosystem. Highlights included a visit to the Centre for Production Technologies (ZfP), an open networking event at the Innoclub, and attendance at RuhrSummit—one of Germany’s largest B2B startup events.

We had the pleasure of working with seven innovative start-ups from around the world, each bringing forward-looking technological solutions:

Accupredict – Solutions to prevent unplanned machine downtime while reducing energy consumption in industrial production (Singapore)
Airee Felt – Fully biodegradable air filters made from sheep wool (Mongolia)
DUGAA – A platform for unlocking product data, optimizing global repair processes, and enabling efficient spare parts planning (UK / Taiwan)
Enline – A highly cost-efficient digital twin with rapid implementation for power transmission networks (Portugal)
Orbiba Robotics – Affordable, AI-powered autonomous agricultural robots with modular components for sustainable and regenerative farming (Turkey)
Peerbie – An integrated AI platform for team communication, task management, and workflow automation, designed to replace multiple SaaS applications (USA / Turkey)
ROOTKey – A cybersecurity solution ensuring data validity, integrity, and authenticity using blockchain technology (Portugal)

The successful launch of the program was made possible thanks to the expertise, commitment, and openness of numerous partners. Their on-site involvement not only enriched the workshop experience but also fostered valuable connections among all participants.

Following the in-person kick-off, the international innovation programme continued through August 2025 with virtual workshops and tailored coaching sessions focused on internationalisation and business development.
ROOTKey and Peerbie also took the opportunity to attend the Digital Week Dortmund #diwodo in September 2025, gaining a deep insight into Dortmund’s innovation network, participating in pitching events, and attending the Web3-Conf3rence at Signal-Iduna-Park.
