Development of a measuring system for the determination of angels in lashing and lifting devices with wireless transmission to mobile devices.

When using lifting and lashing equipment, it is always a matter of selecting suitable components. This selection is based on the determination of lifting or lashing angles, the number of load strands, the weight of the load to be lifted or lashed and other boundary conditions such as the type of lashing or the temperature.
The challenge lies in the simple and reliable determination of the required data by sensors, the development of a compact electronic component for data processing / recording of the sensors and the transfer to a mobile system (computer / smartphone / tablet) for the selection of suitable attachment and lashing equipment.
A measuring device that can be hooked into the corresponding hanger for quick, simple and reliable determination of the required data is contemplated for this purpose. Thereby the system must be usable for various chains with different diameters and pitches and must work reliably in rough and tough industrial environments.
Appropriate software or an app on the end device then supports the user in the selection of applicable products and gives additional information on the corresponding application.
There is a great expertise in the field of design and production of physical prototypes in our company. In the context of the challenge, there is the aim to produce a working prototype for testing.
